Ich durfte bereits 300 Hochzeiten im letzten Jahrzehnt fotografieren.

Plauen ist die größte Stadt des Vogtlandes und die 5. größte Stadt im Freistaat Sachsen. Die weiße Elster fließt mitten durch die Stadt. Plauen ist die Hauptstadt des Vogtlandes und mit ihren idyllischen Elsterufern, dem vollen Grün, den schönen Ausblicken auf die Berge ringsherum, und ihren regionalen Traditionen eine der schönsten Städte Sachsens. Hier findet das Leben, weit weg vom Stress der Großstädte, statt.

Ideen für Orte der standesamtlichen Trauung in Plauen 

1. Sag „Ja“ im Standesamt

Einer der mit Abstand beliebtesten Orte ist der Trau- Saal im Standesamt in Plauen. Man könnte vermuten dies wäre ein langweiliger Ort. Lass mich dir sagen, dass dieser geschichtsträchtige Ort dir ein tolles Ambiente für deine standesamtliche Trauung bietet.

Er befindet sich in einem Gebäude, das 1382 erbaut wurde. Trauungen werden dort bereits seit 1923 durchgeführt. Er bietet Platz für 25 Gäste und ist ideal für die Ausrichtung einer familiären Trauung geeignet. Das Besondere im Ambiente ist die Außentreppe, die sich sehr oft als Motiv auf Plauener Postkarten wiederfindet. Sie bietet die perfekte Kulisse für die anschließenden Hochzeitsportraits und romantische Paarfotos. 

Auch mein Brautpaar Franziska und Rene haben sich, wie viele meiner anderen Paare, an diesem Ort das „Ja Wort“ gegeben. Sehr gern kannst du ihre Hochzeitsbilder anschauen und mehr dazu lesen.

2. Beginne deine Ehe im Ballsaal des Vogtlandmuseums

Es ist ein wichtiges Gebäude in der Stadt, das einem ehemaligen Baumwollhändler gehörte und verfügt über einen Ballsaal, der Hochzeiten gewidmet ist. Es ist hübsch, hat ein einzigartiges Aussehen und sorgt für eine festliche Stimmung für deine Feier. Der prächtige Stuck im Inneren des Ballsaals strahlt Eleganz aus. Der Ort hat einen schlichten Charme und ist hervorragend edel. Diese erstaunliche architektonische Schönheit kann ein ausgezeichneter Ort für Hochzeiten sein und euch unvergessliche Momente bescheren, die ihr für immer schätzen werdet.

3. Sage „Ja“ in einer Straßenbahn und fahre mit Stil in dein Eheglück hinein

Ja, du hast richtig gelesen. Du kannst in Plauen auch in einer alten Straßenbahn heiraten. Die Triebwagen Nr. 21 (Bj. 1905) und Nr. 51 (Bj. 1928) sind ein einzigartiges Ambiente für dein Ja Wort. Ich finde die Idee spannend in einem alten Triebwagen zu heiraten und habe sofort eure Hochzeitsportraits im Vintage- Stil gedanklich vor Augen. Sie bieten eine einzigartige Kulisse und sind Garanten für eine freudige Fahrt mit allen deinen lieben Menschen und Gästen an deiner Seite.

Mein Paar Julia und Kai haben eine Stadtrundfahrt mit der Bahn in Plauen gemacht. Es war ein wunderbares Erlebnis für das Paar und mich als Fotografin. Wenn du eine Affinität zum Bahnfahren hast, wäre das vielleicht eine Idee für dich dein Ja Wort dort zu geben und deinen besonderen Tag noch unvergesslicher zu machen.

4. Fahre mit dem Boot in den Hafen der Ehe hinein

Gefällt es dir naturnah, in einer idyllischen Landschaft, umringt von blauem Wasser zu heiraten? Dann ist die Idee auf einem Boot oder Schiff zu heiraten, was an der Talsperre Pöhl vor Anker liegt vielleicht dein Herzenswunsch.  Nahe Plauen gelegen ist dies eine ideale Option für deine Traumhochzeit auf dem Wasser.

Entscheidest du dich für ein Schiff als Hochzeitsort an der Talsperre Pöhl, kannst du 20 Personen auf deine Gästeliste setzen. Mit den weißen Segeln, dem roten Teppich und vielen Serviceleistungen ist es ein einzigartiger Ort für dein Jawort für deine oder deinen Liebsten.

Von April – September hast du jeden ersten Samstag im Monat von 10-14 Uhr die Gelegenheit auf einem Boot zu heiraten. Als letztes Paar jedes Tages hast du die Möglichkeit das ganze Boot zu mieten und bei einer Tasse Kaffee und viel Spaß wortwörtlich in dein Eheglück zu segeln.

5. Standesamtlich in einer Kapelle heiraten- Kapelle Neuensalz

Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten in Plauen kirchliche zu heiraten,  jedoch nur einen Ort um im kirchlichen Ambiente standesamtlich zu heiraten. Ich kann die 7 Kilometer entfernte Kapelle Neuensalz sehr empfehlen. Sie erreichst du auf dem Weg von Plauen zur Talsperre Pöhl.

Diese barocke Kirche, mit ihren 120 Sitzplätzen, strahlt eine romantische Atmosphäre für deine Traumhochzeit aus. Paare, die sich hier das Jawort geben, können während ihrer Hochzeitszeremonie Klaviermusik genießen.

Jetzt, da du die Liste aller standesamtlicher Trauungsorte gelesen hast, möchte ich dir auch noch eine Aufstellung über Möglichkeiten für deine anschließende Hochzeitsfeierlichkeit mitgeben. An diesen Orten war ich mehrfach als Hochzeitsfotografin. Ich kenne das Ambiente und auch die versteckten, kleinen Nischen, sodass ich genau weiß wie ich dir dort die besten Hochzeitsfotos zaubern kann. Du findests nach der Ortsangabe die Namen der Brautpaare, die dort feierten. Weitere Einblicke in die Hochzeitsfeierlichkeiten von Franziska & Rene im Landhotel Plauen

Mein wunderschönes Paar Franziska und Rene haben im Standesamt in Plauen geheiratet und anschließend im Landhotel gefeiert. 

Das Hotel war sehr stilvoll und hatte alles was für eine Hochzeitsfeier benötigt wird. Es steht ein Appartement und 24 Zimmer für die Hochzeitsgäste, ein Kinderspielplatz und ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Die Dekoration und die Arrangements dieser Hochzeitsfeier waren sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Eines hat in meinen Augen alles übertroffen. Das Brautkleid! Es war eines der sexy Brautkleider, die ich je fotografierte. Es war großartig und wunderschön. Dieses werde ich für immer in meinem Gedächtnis behalten. Es entstanden wunderbare und romantische Hochzeitsportraits meines Paares und seiner Gäste bei Tageslicht und in der Nacht. Die natürlichen Kulissen, die sich im Landhotel boten, haben mir das Fotografieren sehr erleichtert.

Mir hat es viel Freude bereitet die Hochzeit von Franziska und Rene zu begleiten. Nun hoffe ich, dass es dir ebensolche Freude macht, diese Bilder anzuschauen. Auf Wunsch des Brautpaares gestaltete ich deren Hochzeit in einem Album mit Glaseinband, sodass das  Betrachten des Albums zum Vergnügen wurde und es zu einem wahren Erinnerungsstück für zukünftige Generationen werden konnte.

Als Fotografin habe ich rund 300 Hochzeiten mit meiner Kamera festgehalten, und ich kann mit Zuversicht sagen, dass die Orte, die ich in diesem Blog vorgeschlagen habe, deinen Hochzeitstag wirklich einzigartig und unvergesslich machen könnten. 

Soll alles an deinem Hochzeitstag ablaufen wie du es dir wünschst, empfehle ich euch mehrere Monate ca. einem Jahr vor dem Hochzeitsdatum mit der Planung zu beginnen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt gibt es noch eine gute Auswahl an Anbietern und insbesondere Hochzeitsfotografen.

Der Hochzeitstag vergeht wie im Flug. Es gibt viele Dinge, die du vielleicht nicht bemerken wirst oder nicht die Zeit hast dich darauf einzulassen. Fotos spielen dabei eine wichtige Rolle. 

Lasse deine Hochzeitsmomente von einem professionellen Fotografen in Bildern festhalten. Ein Profi wird all die kleinen Details fotografieren und es dir ermöglichen, deinen Hochzeitstag noch einmal zu erleben, selbst wenn die Blumen verwelkt sind und die Dekoration abgenommen wurde. Die Fotos werden dir noch Jahre später und für immer in Erinnerung bleiben!

Explore Locations In Plauen For Civil Weddings

With the White Elster River flowing through it, Plauen, the fifth-largest city in the free state of Saxony and the largest in Vogtland, is replete with lush greenery and gorgeous views of the rolling hills. The capital of Vogtland, it is one of the most beautiful places in Germany, exuding serene and relaxing vibes. That’s why, as I shared before, many people, who do not belong to this region traditionally, chose to settle down in Plauen, away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger metropolitan settlements. So, if you’re a resident (with roots in Plauen or who has migrated here) of this city and looking for a wedding venue, or if you live elsewhere and have had your eyes fixed on Plauen for your wedding, you’d need an ideal location for your civil wedding anyway. And since I’ve been photographing weddings in Plauen for years now, I’ve got a list of stunning places up my sleeves. As a bonus, I’ve also shared the story of one of my couples and their wedding images for you to use as an example and get an idea of what getting married in Plauen could look like. Take a glimpse!

Location Ideas For A Civil Wedding In Plauen

1. Say I Do At The Registration Office

One of the most popular options in Plauen for a civil wedding is the registration office. Now, some of you might think that it could be boring to get married there, but let me tell you that this place is steeped in history and really convenient when it comes to a civil wedding! Situated inside an old building constructed in 1382, the registration office opened its doors to couples to tie the knot in 1923. It has seating space for 25 guests and can be ideal for hosting an intimate ceremony. One noteworthy thing about this venue is the iconic staircase that can even be spotted on postcards! It makes for a perfect backdrop for some dreamy wedding portraits and romantic couples photos. My couple Franziska and Rene got married at the registration office before moving to Landhotel for a celebration. You can read more about them and check out their images below.

2. Mark Your New Beginning At The Ballroom In Vogtland Museum

Another venue that you can choose for your civil wedding in Plauen is the Falkland Museum. It is also a building of importance in the town and has a ballroom dedicated to weddings. It’s lovely, has a unique look, and beautifully sets the mood for a celebration. The magnificent plasterwork inside the ballroom exudes elegance. The place has an easy charm and is superbly classy. This amazing architectural beauty can make for an excellent wedding venue and give you memorable moments to cherish forever.

3. Hit It Off In Style On A Railcar

Yes, you read that right. If you’re getting married in Plauen and want it to be an unparalleled experience, you can celebrate your big day on a train. You can do it on trains numbered 21 and 51. These are really old trains (number 21 was constructed in 1905 and 51 in 1928, as far as I recall), and the idea of celebrating your special day inside these old-fashioned train coaches sounds so thrilling to me. I can already imagine vintage-style couples portraits! Not to mention the unique and playful backdrops they will make for and the fun you can have with your closest peeps here. One of my couples, Julia and Kai, did a sightseeing tour in a tram in Plauen, and man! What a wonderful experience it was for them as well as for me as their photographer. You can do something similar and make your day even more memorable than it is already supposed to be.

4. Begin Your New Journey On A Ship/Boat

If you’re looking forward to an idyllic landscape and sparkling blue waters to be a part of your wedding day, you could even consider getting married on a ship or boat anchored at the Pohl Dam. It’s very close to Plauen, and this option is ideal for your dream wedding on the water! Also, it’s an excellent location for photos. With a vessel at the Pohl Dam as your wedding venue, you can include about 20 people in your guest list. Quality linens, red carpets, and other exceptional services are the USPs here. These boats are available every first Saturday of the month, from April to September, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. One can even rent a boat to enjoy a cup of coffee with their guests. Talk about setting sail and welcoming your new beginning in style!

5. Solemnize Your Marriage At A Church – Kapelle Neuensalz

There are many churches in Plauen where you can have a church wedding. But Kapelle Neuensalz is the closest one available if you’re looking for a civil wedding within a church. I absolutely recommend it. It is around 7 km from Plauen and near the Pohl Dam. With a seating capacity of 120 people, this baroque-style church has a romantic vibe that could blend so well with your dream wedding. Although it is a small church, it is absolutely gorgeous – and its atmospheric elements render a different feel to the venue. Couples can enjoy the lovely piano music here while they exchange their vows. My couple Sussane and Rico got married here, and the images I created of them and their guests turned out to be incredible. Check them out!

Now that you have a list of locations where you could get married in Plauen, I’m going to suggest some more wedding venues ideal for celebrating and partying with your guests after you’re done with the ceremony. Franziska & Rene’s Wedding At Landhotel Plauen

My gorgeous couple Franziska and Rene got married at the registration office in Plauen, as I mentioned before, and held their reception at the incredible Landhotel. Be it the hairdresser working her magic on the bride or this big pool at the venue or the natural beauty outdoors, it was all a pleasure for me to photograph. The hotel was so classy and had everything from an apartment to 24 rooms for the guests to sleep and get ready in. The hotel had a good parking space and a play park for children. The decor and all the other arrangements at this wedding were so flawless, and honestly, there was this one thing that easily became my favorite part of this wedding. And that was the bride’s gown! This wedding got etched in my memory because the bride wore one of the sexiest dresses I had photographed. It was grand and gorgeous!

From creating romantic portraits of my couple in daylight to doing night photography for them and their guests, it was all so wonderful! And Landhotel Plauen only made this experience better with the stellar backdrops it provided me with for photography. I loved spending time with Franziska and Rene and hope they love their images as much as I enjoyed creating them. Also, I’m so glad that my couple received their glass album, which will make their photo viewing experience a delight – and the album could even be treasured just like an heirloom and handed down to their future generations!
